Went from $36 t0 $13?

I just finished reading an article on Yahoo about a guy who was a writer at NBC or ABC who the fuck cares, and he was making $36 an hour and now he's working for FedEx making $13 an hour. You know what that sounds like to me? It sounds like someone had better humble themself.

I don't really feel sorry for those that were making ALOT of money at one time and now they have lost their job and can't find a job. I know I sound harsh but here's the deal.............some folks have been living well under their means A LONG TIME. They know how to save their money and not to live a very lavish life filled with alot of credit cards.

So, a year ago you were the person giving out the orders and now you're taking the orders? Sounds like to me you've been brought back to reality. So, here's in interesting point he said.........he said when he goes home he knows what he's having for dessert...aspirin. Yep! That sounds right!

So, when you see a service worker doing something that you know you don't want to do, when the economy comes back up, you may think about tipping them more than the $2 you tipped before or you may just give them a sincere thanks because you've either done their job or glad you don't have to do it.

Those are just my thoughts in this bad economy. Humble yourself and next time..........SAVE.

For Those That Didn't Think I'd Make It

How many times you hear this whether it be on tv or not? Everybody wants a sob story of liquid encouragement. They always want us to pity them because according to them, someone told them they "wouldn't make it" or "wouldn't amount to anything".

I watched Top Chef season reunion and chef Eli Kirshtein had a made a comment about chef Robin Leventhal and her winning the challenge for playing the sympathy card. I'm not saying he's right for saying that but I do beleive that ALOT of people once they get on t.v., they feel that in order to be connected to their audience, they have to play the sympathy card.

I'm sick and tired of seeing the sympathy card being played. Booo fucking hoo!!! I just don't believe that in this day and age people are telling you "you know what Tiffany, I like you and all but you're going to fucking fail in life." That shit doesn't happen anymore!!

These days people are more positive than ever so that you can make it. They don't want to live their lives knowing they told you that you would be a fuck up and then you make it big and not give their ass any of your fortunes or even give them props for being a positive force in their lives.

So, quit the bullshit and get over it. As my friend Meka has been known to say "man up". It's quite simple. Quit going on tv and crying to get my sympathy vote. If you keep that shit up, I'll never have any respect for you.

Faking It

So, I'm on facebook, right? Yeah like most of us are. I notice that I've added alot of high school "friends". Ok let's face it, we went to school together but did I really hang out with you? Most of you, HELL NO. Some of you, yeah. So, anyhow, I see this one chick that I recognize. However, I don't recognize her right now because she has not posted any old ass picture of herself. So, I'm like who the fuck are you! You know what this means?

It means I either get my high school book out and look her ass up OR I keep faking it. lol I mean seriously? I haven't seen your ass in years so I think I'll do the latter. Yep, faking it!

Are you faking it with people that you don't remember or are you taking the time to reaquaint yourself into their lives? Yeah I haven't seen your ass in years and if I haven't been thinking about you, I know damn well I'm not about to now.
